* We meet on the second Monday of every month at a pleasant, warm and comfortable venue. (The Masonic Hall, Hayes Lane, Fakenham.)

* We assemble from 10.30am for coffee and a chat with friends, old and new.

* At 11.00am an invited speaker gives a talk on a topic of general interest and then takes questions from the club members. Our aim is to provide a varied and wide ranging programme, presented by enthusiastic and energetic speakers.

* A business meeting follows. (Always kept as short as possible!)

* At around Midday we retire to the bar to enjoy a convivial drink together. This usually provides an opportunity to talk informally with the person who has spoken to the group earlier.

* At 12.30 we sit together to enjoy a fine two course lunch, prepared and cooked on the premises. This is home cooking at its best! (Lunch is of course optional.)

* After the lunch, we disperse at our leisure

Occasionally, we arrange-

* Outings / visits, when we travel with family or friends to local places of interest. (Transport can be organised for those who need it, lifts to and from regular meetings can be arranged too.)

* Special lunches, usually held at a local, not too expensive restaurant in a pleasant and interesting location.
